Long necked deer D 3ds max, After Effects, mental ray June 2011
It's a Still image of "Long necked deer" project ( Parvaz Studio), I had responsibility of Light, render and composite with Mental ray, Max and After effect. BGs are 2D and characters are 3D. The real challenge for me was the composite of 3D characters on 2D BG's. It was an about 12 minute short movie with total budget of 10000 $ that took nine person and about three Months to get done. Typical render paths for a normal shot were 1.Diffuse 2.Lighting 3.Occlusion and 4.Z-depth . I hope that you like it and Your critiques are welcome.
